Counselors Gathered
The "Counselors Gathered: Navigating Mental Health Crisis" session by NAMI equips church staff with essential knowledge and tools to address mental health crises, including understanding and preparing for crises and managing them effectively. Participants will gain insight into creating a crisis plan and learn from the Crisis Intervention Team about police response to mental health emergencies. Additionally, the team will showcase their resource van, highlighting how they support the community in mental health situations.
